Elemental Poker Deck

So this has been in the works for a little while now. I wanted to create an Elemental Themed deck of Poker Cards. This has a lot to do with my fantasy writing and the deck is directly connected to the Elemental aspects within the world of my books. As a small author I'm always looking for ways to help promote myself. Creating some neat merchandise related to the series only made sense

The eBook for Books 1 & 2 is available through all major eBook sites on the web. Limited Edition Hardcovers of Book 1 - Piercing the Veil are still available as well. Look for the first time release of Books 1- 3 on Paperback later this year.
I am also planning a second deck that will be very Steampunk in it's nature.

New Website Coming Soon!

Due to some unexpected transitions in my field of work I've decided to start up my Photography and Design company once again.
I haven't really done very many projects in the last 2 years, mostly due to geographical location and competition.
I've decided that now is the time to try and get my feet back on the ground.
To that end I will be launching a brand new business website as well as a Facebook Page, Twitter account, and more for the company.
It will be titled the same as it was the last time "Hybrid Concepts Imagery" and will be based out of my present location in Fort Saint John, BC, Canada.
I will keep you posted as things develop

Custom Themed Card Deck

So It's been quite a while since I've posted a journal of any kind. I've been busy with working on my writing and working full time.
A good friend of mine here on DA recently created an amazing Custom Card Deck.

I've been wanting to create a deck for a while now in the theme of the fantasy series I'm writing. So I've started work on it. I'm not sure how long it will take to complete but I'm really enjoying the progress so far
I will post images of the cards as I complete them.

Book Launch!

So I've launched the first book in the series I'm writing. It's taken a lot of hard work to get to this point and a good number of people to help me get there.
I'd like to thank Adam Burn for doing an excellent job on the cover. I look forward to his work on the covers for the next books.
Jeremy Kitz who is working as my agent and in my marketing department has been doing a lot to get the project moving.
Diane Lemire who has been my lead editor, she's done great work catching all those things I miss.
And to everyone who has helped with my inspiration over the years, you've all helped me get to this point and I thank you.
We're in the first week of sales and it's looking good but we need to get more pre-orders in. The first shipments of books are being printed as we speak.

Tears of Omega Series

Hello Everyone
It's been a while since I've done an update to my journal. SO I'm living out in northern B.C. now. I'm really enjoying the small town live again, and the cooler climate. It's the beginning of September, and winter will be setting in anytime now
The biggest thing I have to report back on is that I've finally been able to get back to my writing. For those of you that don't know, I'm also a writer besides a Photographer and Designer. I've been working on a series for a while now, and it's finally all starting to come together.
It's called Tears of Omega. It's a fantasy series similar in style to what you'd find in a Final Fantasy universe. I would greatly love to get some more exposure for the series, so I would ask that you join the Facebook Page for it www.facebook.com/pages/Tears-o… On the FB page you'll be able to read the synopsis and the first several chapters of the first book. I hope it peaks your interest
